i just discovered why some people are happier than others. it all depends on your definition of happy. say yu define happy as teh feeling of extreme joy. so obviously yu only feel tt a few times in your entire lifetime. but say yu extend your boundaries of happy to being contented or feeling satisfied. then voila suddenly your frequency of happiness is much greater. even better still, yu could stretch the term happy to encompass any emotion yu feel other than sadness. hey suddenly yu're happy almost all the time.
i dont believe tt some pple are happier than others bcoz of different circumstances. it all depends on how yu look at things. hmm but i dont think of myself as a positivist.

i love the girl on the blog skin =] so small yet so serious... her expression looks so old. as if a soul centuries old is trapped in a body so young.

town is getting bloody boring, with alliteration for emphasis. 7 hours there and all i get is er.. nothing? the only thing that was remotely entertaining was the terminal... some parts were farfetched, to say the least, but tom hanks was so endearingly child-like that i pretty much enjoyed the movie. the rest of the time was spent wandering around aimlessly.. till i was practically sleep walking. and i figured sunday is couples day, what with pple pda-ing in front of me every few steps. got increasingly irritated, to the point tt i ended up at home before dinner.

Many human beings say that they enjoy the winter, but what they really enjoy is feeling proof against it. For them there is no winter food problem. They have fires and warm clothes. The winter cannot hurt them and therefore increases their sense of cleverness and security. For birds and animals, as for poor men, winter is another matter. --- Watership Down, Richard Adams
lol i'm sick of so-called romantic settings -think korean dramas- mm nature ought to be appreciated in all its harsh spectacularity.
